Hi, I’m Chip, the photographer behind Lumen Atelier.
I photograph weddings the way they actually happen – the shaky-hand vows, your dad pretending he isn’t crying, the friends who’ve flown across the world to be in one room together. No interruptions, no performing, no hours away from your own party.
But I also believe your wedding deserves art. So woven into the day are twenty to thirty intentional minutes of editorial portraiture – directed with calm confidence, lit like a fine art print – so alongside the honest story of your day, you have images worthy of a gallery wall.

A wedding is not a photoshoot with a wedding attached to it. It is one of the most human days you will ever have – full of nerves, laughter, bad dancing, and the occasional very emotional uncle or parent. I am there for all of it.
My style sits where fine art photography meets photojournalism – I want the pictures to be beautiful, but I want them to be true first. I move quietly through your day, dipping in and out of the crowd, and the only time you will really notice me is during the couple and the family portraits after the ceremony.
