A Few Things You Might Be Wondering

We believe clarity brings comfort – so here are the questions we’re asked most often, answered with care.

A signed contract and a £300 retainer hold your date. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before the wedding. Once the retainer is paid and the contract is signed, your date is locked in and I will not take another booking for it.

As early as you can. Popular dates, Saturdays between May and October in particular, tend to go 12 to 18 months in advance. That said, if your date is coming up soon it is always worth getting in touch, as I sometimes have availability at shorter notice.

Yes, usually. I like to have a call or meet for coffee before we commit to anything. It matters that we actually get on. Your wedding day is a long one and I will be around you for most of it, so it should feel comfortable from the start. No pressure, no obligation.

Never. Your wedding gets my full day, from start to finish. I do not split my time between bookings or leave early to get to another event.

In the extremely unlikely event of a genuine emergency, I have a network of trusted photographers I work alongside who shoot in a similar style. I would brief them fully and make sure your day is covered. This has never happened, but the plan is there.
