About

Obsessive about light.
Hard to spot at weddings.
What started out as an unusually interesting hobby turned into a very fulfilling career and passion of mine.

A lot of people ask “Why do you shoot weddings?”. My usual answer is because of people. I love being around people in love and being able to tell their unique and captivating story. Every wedding has a different feel and those stories deserve to be told the best way possible.
Meet Chip.
What started as an unusually interesting hobby became the most fulfilling career I could have imagined. I photograph weddings because of people – specifically, people in love. Every wedding has its own feel, its own rhythm, its own cast of characters. I never get tired of it.
I started in America in 2010, moved to UK in 2014, and rebuilt everything from scratch. You might notice my accent is a bit strange at times – it’s been stuck somewhere between American and British for fifteen years, and it’s still morphing!

Present all day. Every day.

Lot’s of people ask me what separates me from the rest and it’s not an easy answer, but I think the most important thing is my attention to detail, my experience with weddings for over 15 years, my love for all things wedding, and my unobtrusive approach.
A good friend once said that the good photographer is like a vampire – he doesn’t cast a shadow and he’s not seen in mirrors. That’s me on your wedding day!
Let’s get in touch and see if we are a good fit!
Your Story, Beautifully Told
I don’t arrive with a list of poses to work through, or a checklist of shots to replicate from someone else’s wedding. Every day is different and I adapt to it – moving quietly, reading the light, watching for the moments that can’t be staged.
Your wedding is one of a kind. It deserves to be told that way. The only moment I’ll ask you to do something will be for the 20 minutes of portraits you’ll want to hang on your wall 🙂

Every Celebration Leaves Its Mark
Love stories captured
Every one different. Every one told as its own story.
Stay Till The Dancing
I spend on average 8 to 10 hours per wedding, sometimes more!
